It was the perfect escape from the bustling city life as Jayelles president Roselle Rebano recently led a group of guests to a fantastic sojourn at the Eskaya Beach Resort & Spa — the finest leisure and spa destination in Bohol and in Asia, and a member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World. Amidst the lush foliage, the serene atmosphere and breathtaking sea and mountain views, the affable resident manager Veronica Navarro, together with her very accommodating staff, warmly welcomed everyone to the beautifully-landscaped resort community and treated them like royalty to the distinctly memorable Eskaya experience. From the Mañosa-designed villas, which come with a private jacuzzi and pool plus a mesmerizing view of nature and the sea, to the superb feast at the excellent Lantawan restaurant, soothing massages at the topnotch Handuraw Spa and world-class entertainment by the Loboc Children’s Choir, guests truly had a blast as they experienced all the comforts of a five-star resort and the world’s greatest pleasures in this heavenly paradise. Truly, Eskaya sales and marketing director Ralph Lim has done a brilliant job in creating a tourist haven that showcases nature at its best and Bohol at its grandest!
Congratulations!

Passionate pursuits
Having undergone intensive workshops with master professors in both traditional Western and Chinese watercolor and ink, gifted Vicky Zubiri will have her first solo art exhibit, dubbed Memories in Watercolor. It will showcase more than 40 beautiful paintings inspired by her travels around the world and brilliant studies in Chinese brush works. The show will open on Nov. 12 at 5:30 p.m. at the Mezzanine Art Gallery of the Manila Peninsula Hotel. It will run for one week. Part of the proceeds from the sale of her paintings will go to Assumption Malibay and typhoon victims.
You’re truly a work of art, Vicky!
