Only members and a privileged few made it to the coveted guest list. It was a sensational visual masterpiece spread out across the entire expanse of the private club as renowned photographer Raymund Isaac unveiled artistic portraits of urban goddesses for an ultra exclusive photo exhibit at Members Only. The exhibit simply dubbed Isaac’s Women covered (or uncovered) his muses from a cross section of society: Joey Mead, Phoemela Baranda, Gianna Kessler, Sanya Smith, Mia Ayesa, Ornussa Cadness, Koby Parcell, Kat Alano, Giselle Toengi, Celine Gabriel, Almay Gaw, Luanne Pasinatto, Daiana Menezes, Joy Pagurayan and Wan Reyes.
Raymund collaborated with Make Up For Ever and Basement Salon and the result was inspiring. Keeping the party going all night was free-flowing drinks from Bombay Sapphire, 42Below and Bacardi’s signature cocktails, the Classic Martini, Bombay Sapphire Collins, Bacardi Mojito, Cuba Libre, Limon Iced Tea and 42Below Summerbreeze.
Members Only is a private bar and lounge. Events are strictly by-invitation.

Another milestone for Nancy
Nancy Harel, owner of the PR and advertising agency that bears her name, looked youthful in her black ruffled attire when she celebrated her 60th birthday at 55 Events Place, near Tomas Morato. The venue’s high-ceilinged lobby welcomed the guests who partied merrily at the garden-like ballroom throughout the night.
The occasion paid tribute to the glorious ‘50s with the youngest Elvis Impersonator in the Philippines, Nonie Yambao. Nancy was serenaded by the Filipino King with her favorite song, Love me Tender alongside her husband Itshak Harel.
Guests, including friends from Zonta Muntinlupa, Rotary Makati, the Sweethearts of Christ Foundation and Nancy’s elementary and high school classmates from St. Scholastica’s, were treated to a program complete with surprise video presentations and live music by Soundstream, a band specializing in ballroom music. Fun dance numbers included the Israeli Hora.
Surprise birthday treats brought smiles and cheers into the room as a music video of one of Nancy’s favorite songs Close to You by the Carpenters was produced, directed and starred by Nancy’s staff. The second surprise was a video produced by the celebrator’s eldest daughter Tami, who currently resides in Canada. The video featured Nancy’s first and only grandson, six-month-old Elan who was filmed “baking” a cake for his proud lola.
Happy birthday Nancy and we look forward to your next milestone!
Cooking up a storm in Godskitchen
It was the perfect recipe for a great musical extravaganza — large servings of style, music and pure energy as Nokia Music, together with Bigfish, presented the biggest electronic dance music event, Godskitchen. It was presented with breakout trance artist Sander van Doorn.
Van Doorn is a testament to his raw talent and dedication. In just seven years, he’s clocked up more sell-out gigs and awards than most artists do in a lifetime. His musical style has him weaving elements of trance, electro, techno and house.
Nokia Philippines marketing head Sandeep Khanna said: “To have an amazing musical experience, you need the right ingredients — the right music player and healthy helping of high quality audio. Nokia serves up the perfect mix via its XpressMusic devices. Combined with great audio quality, large memory for you to store all your favorite tracks, and other fun features, your musical dish will definitely be one that you will enjoy from start to finish.”
Seen at the event were the Nokia team of marketing manager Mitch So, product manager Corinne Bacani, Lucas Raven, Lawrens Vercruysse, Kristine Beleber, Martti Bicierro, Roland Madrazo, Paolo Borja, Abby Sarte, Jasmine Urcia and Miko Concepcion.
