A season to be fab

Good food is a must to ensure success in any event. It was for this reason that The Bellevue Hotel, the most fabulous destination south of the Metro, led by visionary chairman Johnny Chan, together with dapper brothers GM Patrick Chan and marketing and communications director Ryan Chan, was recently tapped by retail fashion leader and luxury brand Rustan’s to cater for its spectacular Spring/Summer 2009 Fashion Show held in Rustan’s Alabang Town Center.

More than a hundred guests were treated to the ultimate eye candy as renowned brands such as Loop, Le Sportsac, Karen Kane, Tigerlily and Mulberry presented their vintage-inspired summer look with classy and trendy collections in cool shades of blue, aqua, emerald and coral for women as well as safari and nautical ensembles accentuated with scarves as style statement for men. Everyone had a blast as they enjoyed this year’s much awaited fashion extravaganza with The Bellevue Hotel providing an array of the most delectable canapés, mouth-watering desserts and overflowing crisp wines.

Time stands still when you’re having fun

Lovely restaurateur, food critic and lifestyle columnist Heidi Ng celebrated her birthday at Embassy Fly with her closest friends. Heidi found time to host a shindig even if running Don Henrico’s takes most of her time. Clad in an Emilio Pucci dress, Heidi was in a jovial mood having a double birthday celebration with her best friend, Ashton Ang. The best friends entertained their party-loving friends who took time out on a Wednesday night to celebrate their natal days. Shoe magnate Richard Tiu, accounting whiz Belinda Lee and twins Rolls and Royce Ng and May Muñoz brought birthday cakes for the celebrators while Thai Airways GM Nivat Chantarachoti arrived with STAR EVP Grace Glory Go.

More attractions, more fun

When it comes to the arts and off the charts attraction, A.Venue tops them all. The most happening venue in town is housed in Antel Lifestyle City, the country’s first integrated entertainment mall and events venue under one complex led by Antel Group of Companies president Elena Jao and A. Venue GM engineer Shirley Abugan-Ferrer. 

Recently, A. Venue was the chosen location for a photo exhibit opened by knit queen Lulu Tan Gan. Friends and guests from high places came in droves to witness the event.   The way things are going, expect A. Venue to be the number one lifestyle hub in the Metro.
