Capture every smile with Canon

THE PEPPER MILL - Pepper Teehankee -

Filipinos always seem to find reasons to smile. This year, the Canon ImageNation Capture Every Smile Campaign celebrates the Filipino spirit — one of resilience and unwavering hope — and seeks to remind us of what we can be thankful for.

The Filipino fiesta themed Canon Smile Expo ’09 held at A. Venue in Makati kicked off the annual celebration. The expo introduced 33 new products from Canon’s lines of digital camera, digital video camcorder, printer and copier, giving consumers 33 more reasons to smile.

The yearly event provides consumers an opportunity for up-close interaction with the latest top-of-the-line Canon technology.

The expo saw the most number of colors of PowerShot and Digital IXUS cameras in the company’s history with the addition of five new PowerShot and three Digital IXUS models.

The event was well-attended by members of the media in television, print and Internet who were welcomed by CEO of Canon Marketing Philippines Ramon Arteficio. In the spirit of a joyous celebration, Artefico raffled off smile-worthy prizes such as Calvin Klein Eyewear, Benetton Perfumes and of course, over 30 new digital cameras from Canon Ixus and Powershot, Canon Selphy Portable Photo Printer and Canon Pixma Printers.

After the successful event, each guest left with a smile on his or her face.
