Summer sizzles!

Despite the sudden downpour from time to time, summer still sizzles with the Nestea Fit Beach Volley National Circuit ’09 Start of Summer Party. The national circuit has started with an event recently held at SM Mall of Asia.

At the conclusion of the Luzon eliminations that saw Far Eastern University and Adamson University topping the men’s and women’s divisions respectively, spectators were also treated to a showcase of trendy beach wear by Boracay-based designer PJ Arañador. TV personalities Polo Ravales and Niña Jose wore his creations.

The fashion show was complemented by many exciting activities, a highlight of which was a concert headlined by top bands 6cyclemind, Paraluman and Sandwich. Other fun events like virtual beach volley games and hip-hop classes were enjoyed by everyone. Capoeira classes were also conducted by professors from Escola Brasiliera Capoeira Philippines.

Judging by the success of the Start of Summer Party, it appears everyone’s eager and ready to enjoy more of the sizzling action that makes Nestea Fit Beach Volley National Circuit ’09 this summer’s biggest event. Catch more of the fun and action at D’Mall D’Boracay from May 7 to 9.
