Just recently, a spectacular fashion show introducing the luxurious Filipino-inspired clothing by L Manila, an extension of the iconic brand Tan-Gan, was held at the Edsa Shangri-La Hotel. The entire collection was created by the brilliant Lulu Tan-Gan. A variety of 100 percent cotton resort wear and piña-knit bridal gowns were the featured pieces of the event. The brilliant pieces can be found at the L Manila boutique at Greenbelt 5 and are part of collections created by exceptional Filipino designers including Lulu Tan-Gan, Arcy Gayatin, Tippi Ocampo and Gerry Katigbak. Such superb Filipino style and astounding creativity are truly key elements in carrying out the true beauty of our country’s art, culture and history.

A round of business with pleasure
Fun and camaraderie summed up the day as newly elected president of Wack Wack Golf and Country Club Luis Tan hosted the President’s Cup. Former President Fidel V. Ramos led the event with top business taipans flying in from Japan and Thailand. The participants enjoyed first hand information on potential big business climate opportunities in the Philippines. The President’s Cup was one of the most successful golf tournaments ever with P5.8 million worth of prizes given to the lucky winners.
