Celebrating a special lady

OH YES, IT'S JOHNNY! - Johnny Litton -

When the Grand Dame of Society Manila, the one and only Chito Madrigal Collantes, invited special guests to a birthday party she hosted for Karen Macasaet, all said “yes.” This special lady who has become a favorite friend to many of Manila’s society icons enjoyed a very special party at Le Souffle at The Fort, where chef Jessie Sinchioco prepared an equally special menu of lamb chops, soufflé, salads and more. Apart from Karen’s husband, Malaya publisher Jake Macasaet, and some other close friends, the party had as its special guest eight-year-old genius Miguel, son of Butch and Bib Macasaet. It was a happy gathering that celebrated a very special woman.

Happy birthday, Karen!

Another great birthday bash

An exquisite gathering of fabulous guests of the Sayaw Foundation joined together at the Forbes Park Pavilion in celebrating the birthday of the organization’s founding president and Consul of the Republic of Angola, the most charitable Helen Ong. Guests came in their most fashionable floral attire in anticipation of scrumptious food, fine wine and great company. Dear friends of the celebrant such as Gerry Contreras, Muebles Italiano CEO and president Noel Gonzales, the charming Eimee Cragun, Jimmy Laya and Tara Tambunting provided some entertainment later in the evening.

It was truly an enjoyable celebration. May you have many more wonderful birthdays to come, Helen!

Luau adventure

It was a day of fun and excitement as Stefani Dy Uy recently celebrated her third birthday in style at the Pavilion of the Wack Wack Country Club, which was turned into a huge Hawaiian beach setting complete with bamboo huts and relaxing beach music.

Her endearing parents Salome and Ali were also in their exquisite luau costumes as well as the night’s guest: multi-awarded singer and songwriter Jose Mari Chan. Family and friends alike turned out for the gaiety as Stefani’s third birthday was celebrated in a most memorable manner.

Happy Birthday, sweet Stefani!

A wondrous Wilcon night
