The Bellevue Hotel, the premier venue in the Alabang area for chic parties and stylish events, recently hosted the general meeting of the Alabang Ladies International Group, in cooperation with LuxAsia, at the posh and vast Bellevue Grand Ballroom.

The classy ladies of southern Metro Manila were welcomed by the suave Bellevue marketing and communications director Ryan Chan and treated to the hotel’s delicious canapés and free flowing drinks while having morning facial massages and beauty makeovers courtesy of Guerlain. Apart from a short course on the latest fashion trends, the ladies were also given valuable tips on facial care and makeup. Substantial discounts on Guerlain products were given, as well as special gifts to take home. It was a delightful morning of pampering organized by Alabang’s social and business hub, The Bellevue Hotel.

Marco Polo’s scenic elevator marked the countdown to 2007, and as it reached the top, 2007 was welcomed with a stunning display of pyrotechnics that burst off the entire top floor. The friendly and affable society couple, Bobby and Denise Mañosa, tendered a delightful dinner for visiting Spanish guests, including the sociable businessman Mari Borao, at their lovely residence recently. Old and new friends partied in a very light and laid-back atmosphere as they dined on homemade favorites painstakingly prepared by the Mañosas. It was truly a testament to the generous hospitality of the Filipinos.

Crossing borders

Stylish ladies who are passionate about helping others recently came together for the "Crossing Borders for Others" fashion show. A fund-raising project of St. James Ayala Alabang for the benefit of 150 churches, the show featured remarkable fashion creations by the fashion czar of Asia, Pitoy Moreno, modeled by radiant Alabang ladies such as the flawless Eileen Gonzales.
