A leadership summit

The hardworking and highly respected Peter Coyiuto, CEO and president of First Life, recently hosted a Leadership Summit at the Mandarin Oriental, Manila in an affair filled with business leaders from around the country. Peter lauded the top executives, visionaries in their respective industries, from distinctly Filipino companies: Jollibee Foods Corp. EVP Ernesto Tanmantiong, Shemberg Corp. CEO Benson Dakay and Splash Corp. chairman and CEO Dr. Rolando Hortaleza. The evening was also a special gathering for First Life’s own sales leaders, as they were applauded for their contributions. As usual, the Mandarin’s impeccable service and classy interiors impressed the guests.

Congratulations for a successful summit and more power to First Life!
A party for a cause
The generous and lovely Lucille Villanueva held a cheerful Christmas party at her house in Forbes Park, Makati. Guests came in their best red and green outfits, and they were welcomed by Lucille’s "helpers" in holiday attire, complete with aprons and hats. The posh residence was decorated with Annalee dolls, several stuffed Santas, poinsettias, garlands, a fully decorated Christmas tree and a dining table laden with numerous Christmas goodies. Instead of gifts, the kindhearted Lucille requested that her friends donate to the Resources for the Blind in tribute to her mother. It was a truly enjoyable Christmas gathering for a worthy cause.

Congratulations for a successful party!
A happy birthday luau
Multi Kalakbay Awardee, The Mandarin Oriental, Manila was the place for the birthday luau of the elegant Leonarda Camacho. Agnes de Kok, wife of European Commission Ambassador Johanes de Kok, and Arti Pine, wife of New Zealand Ambassador David Pine, danced an excellent hula to the delight of the more than 200 guests who were present. Not to be outdone, Consul Evie Costa, Nori Ongsiako, Tereret Liboro, Carrie Bautista and Alice Ledesma performed "Pearly Shells" and "Aloha" with grace. Guests from the diplomatic corps and high society danced the night away as everyone had fun, fun, fun at the splendid Hawaiian-themed affair.
