A lovely afternoon celebrating youthful and glowing skin was organized by Rustan’s recently for young and successful ladies who lead very busy lives. Rustan’s bared its Mario Badescu Skin Care brand, an amazing line of premium products patronized by famous personalities such as Cher and Sarah Jessica Parker. Businesswoman Pam Ayson and her friends attended this beauty workshop where skin consultants gave them useful advice on how to keep skin healthy and radiant.

A Japanese experience

The hardworking team of CrownAsia, the country’s largest home builder and creator of many of the best residential projects in the Philippines today, recently held a private meeting at the Ben Kay, the Dusit Hotel Nikko’s renowned Japanese restaurant. Everyone was thoroughly impressed with the service of Dusit’s efficient staff and the ambiance of the meticulously manicured gardens of Ben Kay.

Master magician

World-renowned entertainer Paul Potassy, magician extraordinaire, was recently honored at the World Championship of Magic Convention in Stockholm, Sweden for his more than 50 successful years on stage. One of the true artists in the art of magic, Paul demonstrates the importance of presentation and showmanship in his craft. He is happily married to lovely Filipina Lita Potassy, whom he met in one of his shows here in the country.

Business talks

In celebration of SME Development Week, the Management Association of the Philippines (MAP) held a gathering at the ballroom of the Dusit Hotel Nikko, where they discussed the topic Big Business Brothers SMEs. The featured speakers were Trade Secretary Peter Favila, Figaro Coffee Company CEO Chit Juan and Padua International Corp. CEO Vincent Padilla. Among the attendees were MAP president Evelyn Singson and Trade Undersecretary Mel Alonzo. As usual, Dusit’s impeccable service and elegant settings impressed everyone who attended.

A brand new HQ

It was a merry get-together at the newly renovated offices at second floor of the Starmall Edsa in Mandaluyong. Nacionalista Party members from all over the country recently gathered at the inauguration of their new headquarters led by Senate President Manny Villar. Camaraderie and good will was all around.
