A corporate clash of golfing fun

It was a competitive yet camaraderie-filled tournament at the recent 18th Philippine Corporate Cup, held at the beautiful and magnificent 18-hole par 69, Jack Nicklaus-designed Championship Camp John Hay Golf Course in Baguio City. Over 300 delegates came from as far as Zamboanga and Cebu to participate in the tournament.
The golfers at Camp John Hay were treated to an evening of bonfire al fresco dinner at the Camp John Hay Art Park complete with acoustic music and an array of delectable dishes prepared by the Le Chef team of Billy King. CJH Development Corporations senior officers were present in full force as they mingled and had a good time with the players. Among those spotted were CJH DevCo chairman and CEO Robert John L. Sobrepeña, senior VP for marketing, sales and PR Shean Bedi, COO Benny Cabrieto, Hotel Corp. COO Freddie Alquiros and Hotel Corp. GM Heiner Maulbecker. Lawyer Cecilio G. Hechanova, who founded the Philippine Corporate Cup back in 1989 and his son, Jerick, who is the new GM of the Camp John Hay Golf Club, were also in attendance.
Chef Billy Kings Le Chef Team took home the crown as overall champions. NAKTAYNAY Team led by Vice Mayor Peter Rey Bautista was the champion in Group 2; LNP Foundation won the Group 3 championship; and LEADS AGRI was the best of Group 4. Overall champion Goody Ignacio of Le Chef Team outscored Alex Joseph of National Petroleum Gas Corp. by three points. Once again, this years Corporate Cup was indeed a big success. The inspired duo of Jeric and Shean announced a bigger and better event next year. See you in next years Corporate Cup!
The Eurotiles booth attracted much attention at the recent 11th Philippine World Building and Construction Exposition (Worldbex) at the World Trade Center. The booth had one of the most eye-catching designs in the building, featuring majestic wooden pillars and the latest high-quality and stylish tiles from all over the world. Also on display at the adjacent booth were elegant kitchen sets from MFI, UKs No. 1 integrated kitchen retailer and manufacturer. Top names from the architecture and interior design fields, as well as VIP businessmen took the time to view the Eurotiles area. Congratulations for such a well designed booth!
