Partying to the hilt

Top bands of today such as Side A, Silk and Overdrive brought the house down with hip performances, not to mention the best ’80s dance tunes spun by Decadence’s DJ Boyet Almazan at the hottest destination for the party set of today, Strumm’s Jupiter. Ladies were entitled to a free drink from Strumm’s special drink list like DREAM of Me, Strumm’s Martini, Skyy Cosmopolitan, Pepe Lopez Tequila Sunrise and Nordic Ice Butterscotch while grooving to the music and dancing the night away. Seen enjoying the evening were able Y&R executives Mary Buenaventura and Poma Malantic, Jason Lim, PLDT’s Ito Ramirez, Bravo’s Raffy Suarez, Greg and Weng Domingo and Raby and Tang Singson, among others. Lady Q in red

The sophisticated lady about town, Nene Quimson, a.k.a. "Lady Q," the ever consummate hostess, tendered a colorful and romantic dinner in her plush La Vista home. The breathtaking garden shone with radiant light and was bathed in the most appropriate color of romance – red. The service was truly impeccable and the cuisine was surely a gourmet’s delight. It was truly a wonderful evening to celebrate the day of love!

Love and passion celebrated

An exquisite España Evening served as the inspiration for the 22nd wedding anniversary celebration of power couple Manoling and Sandie Poblador at their tastefully decorated home in Forbes Park. The effervescent beauty and the suave businessman entertained their guests through a musical recital by Princeton University graduate Nelson Caruncho, who sang favourite opera arias, to the delight of the guests. Equally enjoyable were the dishes prepared by La Tasca and the dramatic centerpieces by Mabolo’s Antonio Garcia. Together with a few close friends and the Poblador children, it was a gathering that celebrated love in all its glory.
