Reggie’s cookbook

Food writer, columnist and master chef Reggie Aspiras recently released her new cookbook entitled Kitchen Rescue. The book is a compilation of readers’ questions and Reggie’s answers from her Kitchen Rescue column. It contains a diverse collection of recipes from chef Reggie and guest chefs, and also cooking tips and tricks. The book is distributed by Emerald Headway Distributors, Inc. A remarkable afternoon of style

A chic crowd of elegant women was chatting and having fun during an afternoon of art and style from British India at the Lounge of The Podium in Mandaluyong. The highlight of the event was a fashion show featuring the elegant collection of British India, modeled by ladies and gentlemen of outstanding style and achievement. The show also featured an art exhibit of over 15 paintings of famous artists from the collection of art collector Gilbert Perez and the musical renditions of young jazz pianist Angelo Ortiz and acapela numbers from Nocturne Chorus, a group of talented students and young professionals.

Pavilion nears completion

Construction of The Heritage Park Pavilion, the latest addition to Heritage Park, the country’s premier memorial service provider, is proceeding on schedule and nearing completion. The structure shall be the focal point for serving the memorialization needs of the Park’s Filipino-Chinese clientele. Water features and elegant landscaping shall complete the overall Chinese-Buddhist character of The Pavilion.
