Christmas cheer

A grand party was recently thrown by Heritage Park, the countrys leading memorial park, and York Caskets at the Phi Bar in Metrowalk, Ortigas. Sales agents, funeral directors, owners of funeral homes nationwide, pre-need agents and executives from The Heritage Park Management Corporation and Rosehills Memorial Management (Phils) Incorporated, arrived to a jovial, holiday atmosphere. Indefatigable Jack Kidwiler, chairman and president of Rosehills Memorial Management Philippines, Inc. and his hardworking staff, led by Heritage Park VP for operations Emir Tubayan and VP for sales and marketing Raquel Mendoza, were on hand to heartily welcome everyone and make sure that the party was a success.
After a hearty and sumptuous dinner, the fun began as prizes were raffled off to lucky guests. Quirky parlor games challenged the participants; the prizes were definitely well worth it a three night stay in a suite at Fairways & Bluewater, Boracay. Talented and hilarious comedienne Janna Trias had everyone rolling in the aisles with laughter, while the music of the New Minstrels (fifth generation), Muranos Band, Rhapsody and Thea Santiago provided the evenings musical entertainment. It was a night of good cheer as everyone danced the night away.
Thats the way to throw a party, Heritage Park!
Cool morning breezes and Christmas carols permeate the island air. This is Boracay during the holiday season. For those visiting Boracay at this time or for any other time of the year, the obvious choice is Boracay Regency Beach Resort and Convention Center. The first triple A-rated hotel along the white beach, Boracay Regency is also the resort with the widest beachfront and the most number of rooms, thanks to Boracay Regency chairman and president Henry Chusuey and assistant GM Jade Estardo. Their unequalled service, coupled with an amazing array of dining outlets, bars and leisure options are enough reasons to make Boracay Regency your home in the island.

Ever improving with my every visit to the sunny paradise of Boracay is Sea Wind Resort, Boracays friendliest hotel. The kind and gracious Sea Wind president Federico "Boy" Jarantilla together with his lovely wife Ruth have opened the hotels new wing to the delight of many Sea Wind regulars who enjoy the wide beach front with the finest white sands. The luxurious new rooms have Boys personal touches in them evident in the antiques and curiosities used as accents and massive stones and antique wood to complement the peaceful landscape. Teddy Pefianco and Michael Caling of Iloilos Designs of the Times is the team behind Sea Winds new rooms, seen in photo with Boracays friendliest couple Ruth and Boy Jarantilla.
See you at Sea Wind!
For wine connoisseur Tita Trillo, it was a fitting way to celebrate her natal day with a birthday wine degustacion dinner. The La Vigne Bistro was the setting for the intimate and joyous celebration as Titas close friends all came to wish her the best for her special day. Delectable entrees satisfied everyones palates and soulful music pervaded the air. Guests were treated to an assortment of fine wines carefully selected by Tita herself: Macon Villages 96, Beaune Clos de Mouches Blanc 94, Cotes de Beaune Villages 98 and Madame Therese.
Happy, happy birthday Tita! Many more to come!
