The wonderful team of PEOPLE Asia, led by editor-in-chief Joanne Rae Ramirez, Stargate GM and marketing director Elizabeth Mendoza and marketing manager Karrie Bitanga welcomed their stylish guests.

While the weather was unkind outside, sure fire was heating up the room as a fashion show was unveiled which showcased the marvelous creations of the Young Designers Guild of the Philippines (YDG). Strutting their way on the catwalk were Grace Tagle, Sara Black and Cat Juan flaunting the designs of Mitzi Quilendrino, Joey Samson, Ivar Aseron and James Reyes.

The Maytag and Tempur stores had a joint grand opening to bring kitchen innovation and bedroom comfort to a higher level.
World-renowned Maytag promises to give consumers even better quality with its new line of laundry and refrigeration products. Its laundry line boasts of bigger capacities of up to 10.1 kilos. The Wide-by-Side offers the widest refrigerator and freezer space available in a traditional side-by-side refrigerator. Originally developed by NASA in the 70s to improve seating comfort and G-force protection for astronauts, the Tempur material went through decades of improvement before the pressure-relieving mattresses and pillows were launched commercially in 1991. These provide support to the spine and the neck allowing the body to rest in its natural position to tossing and turning at night.
Seen at the launch were host and Allure columnist Johnny Litton, US Embassy acting deputy chief of mission Scott Bellard, US Embassy commercial attache Brent Omdahl, Focus Global Inc. president Stephen Sy, Tempurs Simon Walsh and Stephen Thirgood, and Maytags Rufus Tseng and Chuck Park. Focus Global VP Loli Sy, assisted by Johnny Litton, Bianca Araneta and Tessa Prieto-Valdes, handed the raffle prizes to the lucky winners.
Visit Tempur and Maytag at the fifth level of the Shangri-La Plaza Mall. These stores are exclusively distributed by Focus Global Inc.

Check out the new thing at Max Brenner! My favorite chocolate bar now has Chocishakes and Maxburgers.
The Chocishakes come in five varieties: choco banana, oreo cookie, peanut butter, chocochino with caramel and rocky road with oreo cookies and marshmallows. My favorite burgers are the John Dory fish burger and the mushroom beef burger with bacon and cheese. Health buffs can opt for a chicken burger of a veggie burger. The burgers are made from Australian beef. Adjacent to Max Brenner is Haagen Dazs with their new flavors: melon, summer berries and panna cotta with raspberries have one after the burger and the shake. I did!
Max Brenner Chocolate Bar is located at the ground level of Greenbelt 3.
