The grandest of hotel launches

What happens when you bring together Alabang’s finest crowd to the most spectacular hotel south of the metro? A sensational grand launch to end all grand launches, that’s what!

The Bellevue Hotel, the premier business and leisure hotel south of Metro Manila, successfully inaugurated the hotel and its grand ballroom recently. Former President Fidel Ramos, Rep. Ruffy Biazon, Andrew Gotianun Sr., Mercedes Gotianun, Muntinlupa’s first lady Loreta Fresnedi and RPJ Dev’t. Corp. director Dunstan Chan were the guests-of-honor of the event. Also present were Josephine Gotianun-Yap, RPJ Dev’t. Corp. chairman Johnny Chan, Bellevue GM Patrick Chan and marketing and communications director Ryan Chan.

Guests composed of businessmen, top account clients and socialites were absolutely mesmerized upon entering the lavishly decorated grand ballroom with a theme representing the ancient Chinese’s five elements of good fortune: Wood, fire, earth, metal and water.

Appetizing cocktails remarkably prepared by Chef Hans Peter Eckstein were aptly designated on each station. The hotel’s outstanding architects Esteba and Gavino Tan and talented interior designer Arlen de Guzman were acknowledged by your columnist, who was the host for the evening.

Well done, The Bellevue Hotel!
A Fantabulous Topping-Off Party
The Shang Grand Tower, the magnificent 46-story building, recently celebrated its topping-off with an equally grand party in the project site at the Dela Rosa cor. Perea Streets in Legaspi Village, Makati.

Hardworking and dapper Tomas Zita Jr., Kuok Group vice chairman, led the ceremonial toasting to mark the unveiling of this dream real estate development that took only 28 months to top off.

Eminent architects, contractors, consultants and businessmen all had a good time as they toasted to the edifice’s success. Scheduled to be completed in the latter part of 2005, The Shang Grand Tower is the first self-funded residential condominium development of the Kuok Group in the country.  (For more information, please call 811-1819, 811-0556 or visit www.theshanggrandtower.com)
A New Spa In The Metro
Metrowalk Spa owner and chief operating officer, the beautiful Rachel "Che" Singson, recently introduced the spa’s facilities to a host of VIP guests and patrons.

Cutting the ceremonial ribbon to officially open this Zen-filled center were Pasig City Mayor Vicente Eusebio, PCSO chairman Serge Valencia, Cory Quirino, Gretchen Barreto, and the very affable artist-cum-beauty queen Evangeline Pascual.

Here’s to the success of the Metrowalk Spa.
