The essence of true beauty

Rustan’s, the country’s premier luxury department store and a symbol of good living, beauty and wellness, recently introduced the Essenses Foundation, a charitable organization that funds various socio-economic projects to help improve the quality of life of women from all ages and backgrounds, at a grand launch party in Essenses at Rustan’s Makati.

Leading the ceremonies was Rico Tantoco, president of Rustan Commercial Corp. and the moving spirit behind the foundation, who thanked the hardworking board of directors and all the trustees for sharing their time and talents to make the foundation a reality.

In celebration of great wines

Riverina Estate, Australia’s premier winemakers, hosted an intimate wine tasting affair at the elite Palms Country Club where guests engaged in a lively tête-à-tête about the fascinating world of wines and enjoyed the elegant and modern facilities of the club’s fine dining restaurant, The Continental.

The Palms GM Graham Kiy and PR and activities manager Michelle Tuason were visibly on top of things as Alabang’s VIPs and loyal members and guests were in full attendance. Thanks to Riverina, more and more people are becoming wine converts.

The Palms Country Club continues to be the leading social destination in the South area as it provides the utmost service for rest, recreation and leisure.
