A groovy reunion

Assumption High School ’78 recently staged a fund-raising concert entitled Let’s Groove Tonight at Streetlife, Glorietta 3. The event featured some of the country’s top musical showbands, a nostalgic AVP dubbed Sights and Sounds of Batch ’78, lots of fabulous prizes and tasty product samples given away by Nestle, one of the event’s major sponsors.

A special guest appearance by Ogie Alcasid kicked off the festivities. Batch mates and guests danced to the fabulous retro music of the energetic Hyperbeat Band and the legendary Rage Band. The show was emceed by Assumption Batch ’78’s Gigi Piit-Adam and co-emceed by top FM disc jockey Carl Guzman.
