Promac, the appliance and electronics brand known for its high-quality yet very affordable products, launched its newest home entertainment system lines. "Promac now has the complete TV set range, from 14" all the way to 29" models," explained Infinite Ideas chairman and young achiever Gelo Serrano, no less. "Moreover, it is introducing a flat-screen TV that is amazingly easy on the budget. Promac is also extending its best-selling DVD and VCD product lines. And these come with a warranty, something those cheap, fake models don’t have. Consumers can have a blast with a wonderful sound trip courtesy of the Promac 5.1 speaker system."

The new Promac TV commercial features good-looking Aga Muhlach promoting all these wonderful products. The breakthrough commercial is one of the first in the Philippines to use the HDTV format, the same used to film Star Wars Episodes 1 and 2. What made it really special was the combination of HDTV for the live shots and computer graphics for the background. "We wanted people to realize that with Promac, they can enjoy digital quality entertainment without having to spend so much," shares Infinite Ideas creative director Onat Roldan. Directed by the youthful and talented Sid Maderazo with post-production by the multi-awarded Underground Logic and soundtrack by Hit Productions, the commercial showcases an edgier Aga Muhlach. Renowned photographer Eric Liongoren did the shots for the print campaign.

Looking at the material, one would think they cost an arm and a leg. But advertising agency Infinite Ideas negotiated with production suppliers, much to the the client’s satisfaction. "We always tell your clients that advertising doesn’t have to be expensive," says chairman Gelo Serrano. "We see to it that our business partners get the best deal possible. And as a sign of their appreciation, they recommend the agency to their friends."

The new Promac commercial is a tribute to Filipinos. By communicating that one does not need to spend hard-earned money to enjoy digital technology the rest of the world is enjoying, Promac enhances the quality of life of the Filipinos. This alone is more than enough reason for us to feel good and proud about Promac.
