C! for yourself
The new car magazine C!, dahlings, was formally launched with loads of excitement at The Fort’s cool NBC Tent. Its premier issue was definitely impressive, specially created for all you boys (and gals!) who love big toys.

Gorgeous, sleek cars were displayed at the hall to add more dazzle to the one-of-a-kind affair, palanggas. Guests gaped at the unique Audi TT sports coupe at the entrance. At the main hall, car enthusiasts marvelled at the ultra- expensive Bentley Arnage. In other areas stood equally jaw-dropping cars to tickle anyone’s fancy–a Porche 996 Twin Turbo; Ferrari F355 F1; Aston Martin Volante Convertible; Chrysler "retro" van; Lancer Evolution 7; and a Ducati super road bike, plus more mind-boggling beauties like them, dahlings.

One of the event’s major sponsors was world-renowned Bvlgari, palanggas. To give guests a glimpse of the Bvlgari lifestyle, hot female models like Rissa Samson, Lucia Santiago, Valerie de los Santos and Nicolette Bell showed off classic Bvlgari jewelry, including its new Lucea collection. C!’s young, dynamic editorial team led by Kenneth Quintal and handsome gent with taste Paolo Puyat Martel, C!’s publishing director, no less, wore the new Bvlgari-Bvlgari (BB) Chrono and Diagono watches. The gents wore Bvlgari silk neckties and cufflinks and the lady in the group, Michelle Pritchard, was clad in Bvlgari yellow gold necklace with three onyx.

The well-heeled invitees, palanggas, included Cosmo Manille’s A-listers and members of prestigious local sportscar clubs.

Yes, palanggas, let’s welcome with a toast of the bubbly the most promising new car mag in town, simply and elegantly called C!.
Back to the ’70s
The exciting ’70s, dahlings, returned to the Rockwell Center, the posh playground of Makati’s elite pack for the launch of 4 A’s Advertising Summit aptly titled The First Quarter Storm.

Startled invitees, palanggas, were greeted by the grimacing faces of strangely outfitted protesters, and then frisked by "armed soldiers" in fatigues. Was this a re-run of a ’70s documentary? Soon enough, the invitees realized that all that was just the welcome gimmick.

The launch of 4 A’s Advertising Summit was an entertaining, clever build-up to the upcoming three-day seminar on Aug. 29, 30 and 31, targeted for advertisers and college students raring to learn more about the art and science of advertising.

The First Quarter Storm
paid tribute to the idealism and the earnest fervor with which the youth pursued their belief in justice during the ’70s, palanggas, which ignited the hearts and minds of 4 A’s founders. It was a time of seeing beyond convention, of exploring the outer limits of what was possible. It was with this spirit that 4 A’s commemorates its 25th year.
Stay healthy with olive oil
If you, like moi, dahlings, are extremely health-conscious, you’ll be pleased to learn about olive oil’s health benefits. In addition to vitamins, olive oil provides cancer-preventing antioxidants and enzymes beneficial to the heart. Olive oil is also well-known in Italy for preventing digestion problems among children.

Like other vegetable products, however, olive oil’s benefits are destroyed when exposed to cooking temperatures. Unless you are trying some exotic experiment, it is recommended that you use an Italian olive oil. Why? Because Italians are the acknowledged masters of making olive oil, dahlings. Olive oil is to Italians what beer is to Germans, or curry is to Indians.

Pietro Coricelli is the most popular Italian brand available in the Philippines, dahlings. It has the biggest variety of premium gourmet oils with specialty products ranging from organic extra virgin to three flavored varieties and oils specially formulated for cooking. It is the largest family-owned olive oil refiner still practising authentic oil-making traditions in Italy. The Coricelli family has such high standards, even the Vatican has chosen them as suppliers.

So, what are you waiting for? Do your health some good by trying olive oil, dahlings.

Leave it to Dish, palanggas, to come up with a smash bash, a new mag, C! to rev up the scene, 4 A’s to bring back the ’70s, and Pietro Coricelli to bring you Italian olive oil. Cool, huh?

See you.
