WATCH: Palace suggests 24-hour work day as new traffic solution
MANILA, Philippines — Presidential spokesperson Salvador Panelo on Tuesday proposed a 24-hour work day to help ease the traffic problems in Metro Manila.
Panelo, also the chief presidential legal counsel, said this would minimize the traffic jam especially during rush hour because students and workers will have different schedule.

In January, Panelo said that work from home is another solution to resolve traffic woes.
President Rodrigo Duterte signed into law Republic Act 11165 or the Telecommuting Act signed as consideration for various work environments. —Rosette Adel
