WATCH: Giant mural honors Frida Kahlo in Guadalajara, Mexico

GUADALAJARA, Mexico — Irish artist Fin Dac paints a giant mural titled "Magdalena", in honor of Mexican painter Magdalena Carmen Frida Kahlo, in the month of her birth, in Guadalajara, Mexico.

The mural was created by Fin Dac and his assistant Brett Crawford as part of "Despertares Impulsa,” a festival organized by dancer Isaac Hernandez that takes place in the city of Guadalajara from July 15 to 19.

Work on the mural started on July 3 and ended on July 15, it required 200 liters of paint and measures 24.80 x 11.30 meters.
