WATCH: Patrons start to flock Dangwa flower market ahead of Valentine’s Day
MANILA, Philippines — Several people on Wednesday flocked Dangwa flower market in Sampaloc, Manila, a day before the Valentine’s Day celebration.
Dangwa flower market is a known destination where one can buy flowers and have flower arrangements for a cheaper price.
A radio report said on Tuesday that the prices of some flowers went up ahead of Valentine’s Day.
A bouquet of roses is now being sold at around P1,000 to P1,200 while bouquets of other flowers are priced at around P800.
A stem of rose is now worth P100 while a stem of sunflower is being sold at P350.
The radio report said flower arrangements made of carnations, gerberas and Malaysian mums are being sold for around P500 per bouquet.
More people are expected to visit the Manila flower market on Valentine’s Day.
