MANILA, Philippines — The procession to transfer the image of the Black Nazarene concluded on Thursday dawn.
The procession or traslacion took around 21 hours, faster than the recorded time in the past two years. The religious image left Quirino Grandstand a little past 5 a.m. on Wednesday and reached the Minor Basilica of the Black Nazarene or Quiapo Church at around 2:15 a.m on Thursday.
Around four million devotees of the Nuestro Padre Jesus Nazareno joined the traslacion, according to authorities.
