Poe warns change of House leadership can lead to major gov't change

MANILA, Philippines— Sen. Grace Poe on Monday warned that the election of former President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo as speaker of the House of Representatives could lead to a major change in government. 

Speaking to reporters after President Rodrigo Duterte's third State of the Nation Address which was delayed for more than an hour due to the ouster of Davao del Norte Rep. Pantaleon Alvarez as speaker, Poe said Arroyo leading the lower house could bring changes to the Constitution, which is now facing proposal of amending to a federal type of government.
