WATCH: Palace says free internet access for public schools, universities a 'top priority'
MANILA, Philippines —Presidential spokesperson Harry Roque on Tuesday providing free internet access to all public schools and universities is a government priority.
Roque said the government realized “that the right to connectivity is also a human right.”
The spokesperson also said it would take years to implement the widened internet capacity since there are still infrastructure problems.
