WATCH: Amid issues, Alden Richards says he is focused on career, AlDub

MANILA, Philippines  — Yes, he is single. And he wants to focus on what he has right now.

During the press conference for the 2015 Metro Manila Film Festival entry "My Bebe Love: #KiligPaMore" on Wednesday, Alden Richards reiterated that he is not in a relationship with anyone.

After fans took offense over an "Sunday PinaSaya" director Rich Ilustre's alleged tweet claiming that Alden is in a relationship with Julie Ann San Jose (other fans claim the said tweet was fabricated).

"Yung focus ko po is nandito sa AlDub. As of the moment, I'm not entertaining any feelings towards anyone," Alden said.

He added: "It's a matter of choice po e, and I choose to focus on what's happening now."

But Alden said he is "good friends" with Maine Mendoza, his "My Bebe Love" co-star and half of the popular "Eat Bulaga" love team AlDub.
