WATCH: Aquino explains difficulty of naming new PNP chief

MANILA, Philippines — President Aquino on Wednesday explained the challenges of naming a new Philippine National Police (PNP) chief after the exit of suspended Director General Alan Purisima.

In an ambush interview during Aquino's inspection of JAM Liner Bus Terminal, Aquino said that only one person in the ranks of the PNP can be a four-star general, currently held by Purisima.
