WATCH: Customs chief Biazon, 33 others face raps over 'pork' scam

The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) on Friday filed charges against 34 individuals including Bureau of Customs Commissioner Ruffy Biazon for their supposed involvement in the alleged P10-billion pork barrel scam.

Justice Sec. Leila de Lima said in a televised news conference on Friday that among those charged were seven former congressmen including Biazon, who are accused of malversation of public funds, graft and corruption, and direct bribery.

The seven former lawmakers are:

  • Baterna Salacnib (1st district, Ilocos Sur)
  • Biazon (Muntinlupa)
  • Mark Douglas Cagas IV (1st district, Davao del Sur)
  • Douglas Cagas (1st district, Davao del Sur)
  • Arrel Olano (1st district, Davao del Norte)
  • Arthur Pingoy Jr (2nd district, South Cotabato)
  • Rodolfo Valencia (1st distroct, Oriental Mindoro)

Also charged were two representatives of congressmen, three heads and seven employees of implementing agencies, 12 resident auditors, Janet Napoles and two individuals from the alleged fake non-government organizations set up by the businesswoman.
