Piston head defends strike, hits back at Palace

MANILA, Philippines -- Piston secretary general George San Mateo said the transport strike last Monday was a success, though it failed to paralyze transport in Metro Manila. He, However, pointed out that the number of stranded commuters is not the gauge of the strike's success but the number of public utility drivers who joined the transport holiday.
