Medico-Legal officers testify at Maguindanao massacre trial

State Prosecutors have presented two more legal officers at the Maguindanao massacre trial being heard at the regional trial court in Quezon City at the resumption of the hearing.

Deputy Chief State Prosecutor Richard Anthony Fadullon said Dr. Ruperto Sumbilon Jr. and Dr. Ricardo Rodaje, both National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) medico-legal officers who conducted an autopsy on several bodies of the victims in the carnage Nov. 23, 2009 have testified before Judge Jocelyn Solis-Reyes on the findings of their respective examinations.

Sumbilon examined three bodies while Rodaje eight cadavers recovered from the crime scene at a hilly portion of Brgy. Salman, Sitio Masalay, Ampatuan town, Maguindanao.
