Optimistic

There is more to the official trips and state visits of our President. To date, he has stirred the interest of other nations to invest in our country. In his Vientiane visit, Italy has committed to help our country through development projects particularly for Mindanao. I’m sure residents of Mindanao will be very happy upon knowing the good news.

Our President has also expressed high optimism that a warmer, closer relationship with China in the coming days will be realized. He is hopeful that after the changeover and transition via a new leadership, the dispute with China will totally ease.

This will be good for our country because we will have stronger relations and economic ties, and that our Asean neighbors will be impressed at how far our government would go to achieve the goals for our nation and to be at par with other economies in Asia, and overseas.

These observations came because our people no longer want war, conflicts and divisiveness. Our soldiers and police also want peace, and threat groups may soon soften their stance. These are things which we should be happy about, and anticipate for. – Jon Vic I. Rojes, San Pablo City
