Life is a constant struggle, an ever-changing process. The swirling, catastrophic effects of storm Sendong and the uncertain times the victims grapple with now, can easily crush people with weak spirits.
Keeping a strong spirit — no matter the beatings life dishes out — is the key to successful survival. Take cover in your faith, keep in mind that nothing is permanent in this world. Everything else passes... only God is constant.
Keeping a courageous spirit during turbulent times is much, much easier said than done. With faith and perseverance, however, it can be learned, developed, cultivated and ultimately achieved! There is everything to gain if we tenaciously cling to HOPE.
The degree of our coping-up ability hinges on the intensity of our hope. For hope produces a tremendous strength of its own that could generate possibilities and opportunities — in spite of...! Remember hope springs eternal!
May this New Year usher in a better life, as I pray for a safe, healthy, happy, prosperous 2012 to everyone!!
