MANILA, Philippines - Smart Communications, Inc. (Smart) and First Pacific incubator IdeaSpace Foundation, Inc. joined the technology startup community in supporting the final rounds of the ON3 2012 competition, the business plan pitching Olympics for emerging tech companies in the Philippines. ON3 is organized by the Science and Technology Advisory Council, Silicon Valley (STAC-SV).
Six startups from all over the country won the grand prize of a three-month Silicon Valley Immersion package sponsored by Plug and Play (PnP) Tech Center in Sunnyvale, California.
Smart is one of the companies behind IdeaSpace, a non-profit foundation that seeks to help technology entrepreneurs through funding, training, mentoring, operations support and ready market runway through a multi-million peso program.
