MANILA, Philippines - “And they live happily ever after”, the perfect ending of every fairy tale the young ones and those young at hearts have known and loved, will be synonymous to the realization of dreams for a number of less privileged children this December as Ballet Philippines and St. Hannibal Multi-Level School Foundation Inc., collaborated in presenting the classical ballet, Sleeping Beauty.
The power house cast composed the top artists of Ballet Philippines, a noted and highly acclaimed production house of ballet plays since 1969, with live musical accompaniment to be rendered by the equally famous Manila Symphony Orchestra.
The gala performance on Dec. 3, 2011, 8 p.m. at the Tanghalang Nicanor Abelardo of the Cultural Center of the Philippines will benefit the scholarship grantees of St. Hannibal Multi-Level School Foundation, Inc., a non-stock and non-profit entity operated by the Congregation of the Rogationists of the Heart of Jesus-Philippine Delegation.
The Rogationists - Philippine Delegation formalized the foundation in 2002, in continuance of their numerous programs supporting the marginalized sector of our society. To date it has already catered to more than 700 scholarship grantees from elementary to college with no obligations attached except to make their lives better.
