MANILA, Philippines - Proving that MFI means quality, MFI Technological Institute (MFI-TI) alumni dominated the top spots in the certification exams for instrumentation and control engineers and instrumentation and control technicians given by the Philippine Instrumentation and Control Society (PICS) last November.
Fernando Santiago, an alumnus of MFI’s Industrial Technician Program, topped the certification exam for engineers and also had the second highest score in the certification exam for technicians topped by fellow alumnus Ardee Mark Saqueton. Alumnus Bernardino Quitay took the third place for both exams.
MFI alumni Noel Isla and Ryan Fernandez placed 6th and 9th respectively in the PICS exam for instrumentation and control technicians.
Participants interested in becoming certified by PICS may benefit from the expertise of topnotchers Santiago and Quitay who are currently lecturers in MFI’s short course training program. Previously certified by PICS as instrumentation and control engineers are MFI instructors Rodrigo Panuelos, Dennis Porlaje, Mauro Rogel Barroga, and Charles Valencia, MFI-TI director for Education.
