MANILA, Philippines - The 3rd National Congress of the Coordinating Council for Private Eduational Associations of the Philippines (COCOPEA) with the theme “Electing Excellence: COCOPEA Congress on the State of the Philippine Education Today” was held recently at the SMX Convention Center, Pasay City. COCOPEA is the umbrella federation of five educational associations in the country, namely the Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities (PACU), Catholic Educational Association of the Philippines (CEAP), Association of Christian Schools Colleges and Universities (ACSCU), Technical Vocational Schools Association of the Philippines (TEVSAPHIL) and the Philippine Association of Private Schools Colleges and Universities (PAPSCU). Speakers from the government and private sector presented the state of Philippine education and drew up measures to enhance its quality and relevance.
