Mariel, may pasaring sa ibang kaibigan!

Birthday ni Mariel Padilla noong Aug. 10 at binati siya ng mga kaibigan gaya nina Senator Camille Villar, Ruffa Gutierrez, Marjorie Barretto, Toni Gonzaga at iba pa.

Karamihan sa comment ay positive and so far, minimal ang hate comments. Wala pang namba-bash sa friends ni Mariel na present sa birthday dinner niya.

Pero ang caption ni Mariel sa kanyang post, may pa-shade raw: “At 42, I’ve realized that I don’t need a lot of friends. I just need the true ones.

“The one who have seen you through different seasons of your life. The ones you can laugh with until your stomach hurts, cry with, be completely yourself with, and somehow pick up exactly where you left off no matter how much time has passed.

“Life has a funny way of showing you who your people really are... and at this age, I value more that more than ever.

“My circle may be smaller, but my heart has never felt fuller.

“These are my people. My constants. My truest friends. And I wouldn’t trade them for anything.”

Comment ni Marjorie, “Proud to be your friend! We should always celebrate you Mommy Mariel! Last night was a lovely group, good food, lots of fun and everybody loves you.”

Sinundan ni Ruffa ng “Love your caption and love you, Ma mhie!!  I’ll always be your constant through thick and thin, Just holler & I’ll be there.”

May birthday message rin si Toni kay Mariel, “Happy birthday, Ma! I’m so grateful for you and for every season of our friendship. Ang comment ng isang netizen ang nagpatunay na real friendship ang meron si Mariel at ang kanyang mga kaibigan.

“Mariel supports Duterte, Toni supported BBM, Marjorie supported Leni. See how they still get along? #respecttheirchoices you can always agree to disagree without being disrespectful.”

Boom Labrusca, inatake ang mga squatter

Kinol-out ni Boom Labrusca ang mga nagkakalat ng basura na isa sa mga rason kung bakit bumaha na naman nang husto sa Metro Manila (MM).

Nag-suggest na rin ito ng dapat gawin para matigil ang pagbaha sa MM at ang suggestion nito ay alisin ang informal settlers na nakatira sa tabi ng waterways at mga ilog.

“Pasintabi po... Hanggat ang mga informal settlers ay hahayaan nyo dyan sa tabi-tabi walang mangyayari, alisin n’yo po sa ilog sa gilid-gilid ng dagat ang mga iyan,” suhestiyon ni Boom.

Naniniwala si Boom na dapat maging istrikto sa enforcement ng batas tungkol sa pagtatapon ng basura at pagkakalat ng basura.

Kaya naman marami ang nag-react, “Di porke’t nakatira ka sa squatter ay maging ugaling squatter ka. Yung mga basurang ‘yan kanino pa ba galing?”

Marami ang nag-agree sa pahayag na ito ni Boom, pero may mga nagalit pa dahil bakit daw sinisisi ang mga squatter sa pagbaha.

Nagalit din ang DDS (Die-hard Duterte Supporters) kay Boom dahil sa pahayag nitong, “Bumili ka ng pagkain... pero dahil Confidential funds gamit mo dapat walang resibo? Atty. Sure ka ba? Ganun ka confidential?”

Sagot ng isang DDS kay Boom, “Bumili ka ng utak... para magkaroon ka ng deeper understanding and appreciation sa kinukuda mo.”

Bongga… cast, magpapasampol sa All-Star Games

Mas masaya ang Viva All-Star Games 2026 na magaganap sa Aug. 16, sa Smart Araneta Coliseum, dahil guest ang cast ng Bongga Ka ‘Day!: The Annie Batungbakal Musical. Magpi-perform ang cast sa pangunguna ni Atasha Muhlach sa halftime ng laro. Kasama ring magpi-perform sina Sam Concepcion, Jeff Moses at Anthony Rosaldo.

Pagkatapos ng volleyball game at bago ang basketball game ang inaabangang halftime performance. Kaya magkakaroon ng disco sa Big Dome at magiging malaking ‘70s dance party.
