BOSS centers para sa maliliit na negosyo
UMAANI ng papuri at suporta ang isinusulong ni Sen. Jinggoy Ejercito Estrada na Business One-Stop Shop (BOSS) centers na aayuda sa maliliit hanggang katamtamang negosyo o micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs).
Sa kanyang Senate Bill 1593 (Business One-Stop Shop Center Act of 2013), binigyang-diin ni Jinggoy na ang MSMEs ay katuwang sa pagtataguyod ng ekonomiya ng bansa. Ang sektor na ito aniya ay pangunahing tagalikha ng patrabaho.
Base aniya sa datos ng Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), ang MSMEs ay nakalikha ng 3,872,406 trabaho noong 2011, o katumbas ng 61% ng patrabaho na nalikha ng kabuuang business establishments sa naturang taon.
Alinsunod sa panukala, magtatatag sa mga lalawigan ng BOSS centers na bubuuin ng mga kinatawan ng DTI, Securities and Exchange Commission, Bureau of Internal Revenue, Department of Labor and Employment, Social Security System, Cooperative Development Authority at local government units.
Ang BOSS centers ang direktang mag-aasikaso sa mga pangangailangan ng MSMEs tulad ng “processing of all documentary requirements for the establishment of business enterprise, and provide necessary information and other services related to training, financing, marke-ting, referrals… and prospective entrepreneurs.â€
“Recognizing the potency of the small and medium enterprises on providing employment and livelihood to the people, it is only reasonable to further support this sector and lay out simpler, trouble-free procedures for setting up businesses, especially for prospective ‘bosses’ of their own companies,†ani Jinggoy.
