Heart attack tips for the seniors

SENIOR CITIZENS CORNER - A.M. Dela Serna -

Niay maayo (tingali) alang kanatong mga senior citizens, ako ning nadawat sa text, mahimo nga motuo ta, o mahimong i-ignore, ania:

HEART ATTACK. If you’re alone – and if you have symptoms of chest pains – that radiates to your arm (usually left), up top your jaw, it is a heart attack. HELP YOURSELF.

Cough repeatedly and vigorously take deep breath before every cough. Deep breath gets oxygen to lungs, coughing keeps blood circulation alive.

HEART ATTACK PREVENTION. 1.When taking a bath, wet below your extremities first, not your head as we usually do. 2. When you’re really exhausted or stressed, don’t wet your head at all. 3. Avoid cold foods and drinks. 4. Rub hot liniment nightly on your chest. 5. Avoid eating oily and fatty meats. 6. Take little amount of water at bedtime.

HEART ATTACKS AND DRINKING WARM WATER.This article is not only about warm water after meal; it is also about heart attacks. The Chinese and Japanese drink hot tea with their meals, not cold water. Maybe it is time we adopt their drinking habit while eating.

It is nice to have a glass of cold water after a meal. However, the cold water will solidify the oil stuff that you have just consumed. It will slow down the digestion. Once this “sludge” reacts with the acid, it will break down and be absorbed by the intestine faster than in solid food. Very soon, this will turn into fats and lead to cancer. It is best to drink hot soup or warm water after a meal.

COMMON SYMPTOMS OF HEART ATTACK. You should know that every heart attack symptom is going to the left arm hurting. Beware of intense pain in the jaw line. You may never have the first chest pain during the course of a heart attack. Nausea and intense sweating are also common symptoms. 60% of people who have a heart attack while they are asleep do not wake up. Pain in the jaw can wake you from sound sleep. Let’s be careful and be aware. The more we know, the better chance we could survive.

A cardiologist says if everyone who reads this message, send it to 10 people, you can be sure that we’ll save at least one. Be a good friend and send this article to all your friends you care about.

4124249, 4125298.
