The kind of presidency that any new US leader will usher in the next four years can be easily discerned from the kind of personalities that he brings into his Cabinet. US president-elect Donald Trump has chosen all neocons and war hawks. The second Trump presidency is thus predicted to be interventionist, aggressively pushing American supremacist thrusts, and strongly anti-China, pro-Russia, pro-Israel, anti-Palestinian, anti-Ukraine, anti-Iran but pro-Saudi Arabia.
Trump will intervene in internal affairs of other nations and use the US military to promote American ideology and socio-economic and geopolitical policies.
Neoconservatives are those who typically push aggressively for the unilateral imposition of American ideology on smaller and weaker nations. The neoconservatives are noted for their militaristic and interventionist tendencies based on the philosophy of "world peace through superior strength". These people are notorious for pushing the US to support rebels in other countries in order to fight regimes who are communist and socialist.
Neoconservatism started in the 1960s right in the USA, and it is a movement among politicians, mostly Republicans. These people are the ones who always push Congress to send billions worth of arms to Israel. They also advocate for the invasion of Iran, Lebanon and to use strong arms tactics against China and North Korea. They also support NATO and the EU and, perhaps happily for the Philippines, Taiwan, Japan and South Korea. The neoconservatives support Americans' strong resistance against China's ambitions at hegemony in Asia-Pacific.
A war hawk is a politician or a bureaucrat who advocates for aggressive wars against other countries, for escalation of on-going conflicts and for settling disputes among nations through the power of military powers rather than diplomacy and peaceful negotiations. Trump's in-coming Cabinet is dominated by war hawks who shall exacerbate the war in Gaza, and Lebanon, push for an aggression into the West Bank now occupied by the Palestinians. They shall also push for a total war against Iran. But these people will pressure Ukraine to end the war against Russia because Trump needs Putin against Xi Jinping
Trump's Cabinet is going to be led by the most ultra conservative war hawk of them all, Marco Rubio as Secretary of State with Pete Hegseth as Defense Secretary. John Ratcliffe will be the CIA Director and we know how hawkish this guy is. Michael Waltz will be Trump's National Security Adviser and Tulsi Gabbard will be the National Security and Intelligence Director. The Secretary of Homeland Security is Kristi Noem. The interior secretary is Dough Borgum. The Border Czar will be Tom Homan and Doug Collins is secretary of veterans affairs. The common thread that binds all these guys are their firm adherence to the ideology of hawkish neo conservatism.
Susie Wiles shall be the White House Chief of Staff, also a rabid hawk and neo conservative. She makes history as the first female to occupy that post. Her overall deputy is Dan Scabino and the deputy for policy and homeland security is Stephen Miller, the deputy for legislative, political and public affairs is James Blair, while the deputy for communications and personnel is Taylor Baldovich. The Presidential personnel office head is Sergio Gor. The White House Communications Director is Steven Cheung and the White House press secretary is Karoline Leavitt. The Health Secretary is Robert Kennedy Jr.
The US Attorney General is Matt Gaetz, and his deputy is Todd Blanche with Dean John Sauer as solicitor general. The White House Counsel is William Mc Ginley, The UN Ambassador is Elise Stefanik with Mike Huckabee as Ambassador to Israel, One very innovative creation of president-elect Donald Trump is the new Department of Government Efficiency to be jointly headed by multi-trillionaire Elon Musk and genius Vivek Rawaswamy, a pharmacy business mogul. They are instructed to reduce the number of government agencies from more than 300 to less than 100.
Trump's Cabinet is a hodge podge of rabid war hawks and neo conservatives who were chosen based on the most important criterion: their unquestioned loyalty to Donald Trump. Their ideology is just a qualifying given. But learning from his previous presidency, he is not going to bring in again such guys like Vice President Mike Pence, Mike Pompeo and John Bolton who "betrayed" him at crucial times.
Trump is an autocratic leader who micromanages everything. He wants "yes" men who will not slow him down and who will never question his decision. That is why the first lady is not moving with him into the White House because wives usually have the tendency to give unsolicited advice on state affairs. She will just be visiting every now and then and grace state functions and social gathering.
