GAMBLERS ON RH BILL. A mahjong session in a Lahug neighborhood was disrupted when the players’ discussion of the controversial RH Bill developed into a heated argument between two mahjongeros. One of the two hotheads threw away some “pechas” or mahjong blocks hitting a child onlooker on the face. The other players tried to patch things up but it was some people, believed to be tanods, who prevented what could have developed into a fistfight, according to an Ear source.
SENSELESS. Someone in an adjoining mahjong table said it was a senseless quarrel between the two protagonists. “Nagkalalis sila sa issue nga wa sila kasabot,” she said. “Naminaw ko sa ilang giawayan, ang author sa bill maoy ilang gilalisan dili ang probisyon sa bill.”
