CONCERN.
A seminarian told The Ear what he saw on Sanciangco St. one afternoon recently. A girl of, maybe, 12 years old holding on to the hairy arms of a Caucasian man old enough to be her grandpa. She wore a strapless blouse, a pair of very short shorts. “Na-display ang pusod,” the seminarian noted. “Funny kaayo pero wa ko mokatawa. Concern about her future was what I had in my mind.”
NO LAW? The seminarian asked: “Wa ba tay balaud nga nagdili sa mga bata magkompayot sa mga langyaw?” He said if there is such a law, it must be enforced to salvage what little chance these poor girls still have for their future.
