FAST CRIME AT A FASTFOOD. An Ear informer was outside a Chinese fastfood joint in Tabunok mall Sunday evening when she witnessed a hysterical woman pacing, telling people that somebody grabbed her bag. She said she placed her bag on the seat beside her but while she was eating, a sinister character swiped her bag. The next thing she knew, her bag was missing. She hurriedly informed the guard and they both went outside to try and look for the culprit.
BALIKBAYAN SCOLDS COPS. A balikbayan couple from the US saw two female cops standing outside, a few meters from the hysterical woman, but the policewomen weren’t doing anything to help the victim. They were just leaning against the wall, chatting. The balikbayan approached the two cops and said, “Di ba pulis mo? Tabangi ninyo ang babaye.” But the female cops’ only reply was, “Di man ma identify ang suspect.” Upset over their indolence, the balikbayan yelled, “Bisan pa. It’s your job to help her. Go and investigate. Ask around. Na unsa gud mo. Pulis man kaha mo.”
