Rainy days a bane in the lives of medical students, nurses

RUINED UNIFORMS. In a mall, The Ear heard a group of medical students talking about how the rainy days have disrupted their lives. They said that rain and white uniform do not mix. One male medical student said, “Pastilan gyud ning uwan. Pirmi lang ta makasab-an sa school kay ang pisik sa uwan ug lapok makahugaw gyud sa puti natong uniform.”

POTHOLES AND RAIN. A female nurse also cursed the rain and the potholes when, on her way to the hospital yesterday, an SUV sped past her, hit a pothole and splashed dirty water and mud all over her white uniform. She screamed, “Aarrghh! Way batasan kang draybera ka! Puwerte na ning hugawa akong uniform!” The nurse had to go back home and change her uniform. The Ear later learned she was late for work that day.
