Taxi drivers, businessmen complain vs. rowdy Koreans

KOREAN PASSENGERS. The Ear has received numerous complaints from taxi drivers that they have trouble with Korean passengers. They said most of these Korean tourists would place their shoes on top of the passenger seat, push their feet against the back of the front seat, even against that of the driver. "Samok kaayo na sila uy. Walay pamatasan. Naay kausa, hapit nako mabangga ang taxi, nakalitan ko sa Koreano kay gisikaran ang luyo sa ako lingkoranan. Kuwang seminar sa saktong pamatasan," says one taxi driver. KOREAN DINERS. Similarly, Ear informers have observed that many Koreans are rowdy when they go to restaurants. They reported that many of these Koreans, mostly students, are very noisy, boisterous and demanding on the waiters. A mediaman said, "Mga amigo nakong businessmen dili ganahan mokaon sa restaurant kung daghang Koreans kay sabaan sila. Alingug-ngug bitaw na sila paminawon. Pero sagdi lang, kay maayo man para sa atong turismo."
