Entertainment star Kris Aquino said in her Twitter account yesterday that Thai Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra would be a good match for her bachelor brother President Aquino.
“Came from Malacañang. Lunch for Thai Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra. She’s tall & slim & attractive! 44 yrs old, bagay for Pnoy!”
The Thai leader is the youngest sister of former Thai prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra and was involved in business before she joined politics. She was married to businessman Anusorn Amornchat and has one son. Recent reports refer to her as a single mother.
Shinawatra said it was an honor and pleasure to visit the Philippines, “a country that shares a close tie with Thailand and has produced great talents including Manny Pacquiao and Lea Salonga.”
Aquino told Shinawatra, “You hold a distinct honor of being the first woman prime minister of Thailand. My mother, too, was the first female president of my country… We have much in common. We share the same dream of a better life for our peoples and are filled with the same determination to achieve these aspirations.”
