‘Red notice’ vs Zaldy Co ihahain muli – Remulla

MANILA, Philippines — Sinabi kahapon ni Interior Secretary Jovic Remulla na maghahain ulit sila ng “red notice” para kay dating AKO Bicol Partylist Zaldy Co at maaantala ang kanyang biyahe patungong France.
“We are filing a red notice for Zaldy Co again. Coincidentally, I will also be going to Lyon, France to follow up on his red notice with Interpol,” ayon kay Remulla.
Ang Interpol red notice ay isang request sa mga law enforcement authorities worldwide para ma-locate at mahuli ang isang indibiduwal na pinaghahanap ng batas.
Ayon kay Remulla, hindi muna siya tutulak papuntang France mula sa dati nitong plano para mag-follow up sa request na “red notice” sa Interpol laban kay Co.
“In light of this and other documentary requirements by Interpol, I will have to delay my trip to France by two weeks or three weeks to finish this, to finish the legislation and to finish the documentary requirements asked of me,” sabi ni Remulla.
Ang delay aniya ay upang tutukan muna nito ang naganap na pamamaril sa Banga National High School (BNHS) sa Banga, South Cotabato kamakalawa na ikinasawi ng tatlong high school students.
Sinabi ni Remulla na makikipag-ugnayan siya sa Department of Education (DepEd) para makagawa ng guidelines upang maiwasang maganap ang isa pang ganitong insidente sa mga paaralan.
“So ‘yung itatanong ‘yun, hunos-dili lang kayo, let me finish my work. The President asked me to report on Monday to give the guidelines again and then we will craft with the DepEd another set of rules kung paano natin maa-avoid ito,” ani Remulla.
