MOPC Judiciary Night set

MANILA, Philippines — Chief Justice Alexander Gesmundo will speak as the guest of honor as the Manila Overseas Press Club holds the “MOPC Judiciary Night’’ at 6:30 p.m. today at the grand ballroom of Fairmont Raffles Makati Hotel.

Prominent lawyers, professionals and businessmen have pre-paid reservations to attend the event.

Gesmundo, the country’s 27th chief justice, will retire on Nov. 6.
