James, naging compass si Issa nang lokohin ng kaibigan ng P150 million

Naging open si James Reid sa relasyon nila ni Issa Pressmanat ibinahagi kung paano siya tinulungan ng girlfriend na makabangon mula sa matinding pagsubok na dumating sa kanyang buhay.

Sa guesting ng aktor/singer sa vlog ni Gary Valenciano, ginunita niya ang matinding pinagdaanan kung saan ay naloko siya ng kanyang business partner sa itinayo nilang record label na Careless Music.

“I lost P150 million, that was like the last 10 years of work that I’ve done, probably more. It was a lot. It was almost all of what I’ve saved,” kwento ni James.

Hindi raw niya akalaing magagawa ito sa kanya ng itinuturing niyang kaibigan at si Issa raw ang taong nagpa-realize sa kanya ng mga nangyayari at gumi­sing sa kanya.“It was Issa that woke me up to all of it. She’s the one that really had to… like, shake me and be like, ‘Hey, you really need to wake up, this is, I think, is really what might be going on,’” kwento ng aktor.

“She’s like, ‘I don’t think this is ever going to get better, I don’t think you’re gonna get that money back, like, you really need to wake up and see that’s what’s happening.’

“So, I did and Issa was a huge part of that whole experience,”patuloy niya.

Ginunita rin ni James ang malaking iskandalong naganap sa Wavy Baby Music Festival in 2023 na produced ng Careless Music kung saan ay napakaraming aberyang nangyari sa pamumuno ng kanyang business partner. “It was a nightmare,” aniya.

“Just problem after problem after problem, and police showing up because it was just not planned properly, and you know, he (his former business partner) really was the head of it,” dagdag niya.

Patuloy pa niya, “but all while this was happening, this was the time that me and Issa started dating. Wavy Baby which is January, 2023. And as horrific that everything that was going on right then, there was also something even more beautiful happening at the same time.”

That time, aniya ay talagang sobrang in love siya kay Issa na kahit nagkakagulo na ay hindi niya ito masyadong alintana.“I was so like, smitten and in love that no matter what the hell was going on, it was so bad and people like, texting me like, ‘James are you okay?’ I’m like, ‘yeah, I’m okay.’

“So, there was so much more beautiful happe­ning at the same time that it completely distracted me from how bad I was supposed to be feeling at that time,” pag-amin ng aktor.

Pagkatapos daw nito ay tinanggal na niya ang kasosyo sa kumpanya at sa kanyang buhay.

“That love (for Issa) became like my compass, and that was her. She just guided me in to everything that I’m doing now with my music,” saad pa niya.

Si Issa raw ang liwanag sa kanyang darkest days at ngayon daw ay may tinatanaw siyang magandang future because of her.

“I believe that God sent specifically the brightest light in my most darkest moments,” saad pa ng aktor.
